I love this job!!!!!

.......despite being woken up with a coffee 15 minutes ago

At 1pm I am picking my cousin up and bringing him over to ours, he and Lee are going to play pool in the local while I cook up a Sunday lunch.

D, my cousin, is a twin. You may have seen me mention his sister D. Remember the post about the surreal party at the conservative club in January? Well they are the birthday boy and girl. That was the last social event we were all together before my aunt died, and six months on the family are all still reeling from her death. D has felt the loss very deep, he's been deaf since birth and struggles to communicate his feelings, leading to a suicide attempt not long after his mum died.

Luckily he is much stronger and he and Lee get on well, hence today's invite.

My intention was to take the dog for a long walk, but the rain is very off putting. I don't mind rain, it's bathing the muddy dog I don't fancy.

valley and you have to walk it for yourself,
your girlfriends will be on
the valley's rim,
cheering you on,
praying for you,
pulling for you,
intervening on your behalf,
and waiting with open arms at the valley's end.

Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk beside you.
Or come in and carry you out.

The world wouldn't be the same without them, and neither would I.

When we began this adventure called womanhood,
we had no idea of the incredible joys
or sorrows
that lay ahead.
Nor did we know how much
we would need each other.

Every day, we need each other still.

So have a cup of tea with me
& pass this on to the women and men who help make your life work.

Went to dinner at an old friends house last night and she convinced me to join facebook, and so I did! Not sure yet! I'll let you know.

Bad news....Abi's bug spread through the house.....good news....I lost 4lb

Not much else to tell. Lee's recovery truck caught fire last night. Luckily he was, as usual Mr calm and collected. Scary tho!
