Regular readers of my blog will know of my interest in spirituality and my attendance of development classes. We end classes on 24th August, and will then hold a "fledgling" night at church. In preparation, tonight we held a service, in which we took turns to be the visiting medium, working in twos. I was terrified!!!
I was in the first group to get on stage, and my partner stood up first and delivered a cracking message. Meanwhile I sat on the rostrum in panic as my mind was blank. Before standing up I visualised a white light and it travelling down my body, opening up to spirit. My last thoughts as it came to my turn were "I'm ready don't let me down"
I stood up, and closed my eyes, my face was buzzing, and I could feel the energy as I suddenly felt a woman step close. I say felt as I didn't see her, even in my minds eye. I felt someone was with me, and I felt the spirit was female. I opened my eyes, looked at the expectant faces of the rest of the class and said.....

"I have a lady stepping close to me, her name begins with M and is either Maude or Mabel, can anyone take that?" J at the back of the room said "Yes!!" I carried on..."she's telling me the number 6 is significant as is the month of June" J......June!!!! said "yes" I started to panic a little and thought I had lost contact, but realised the lady was very shy, I told June this, she said "yes, she was" I said "she's backing away from me, and I get the feeling she is wary as she couldn't trust people she didn't know" June confirmed this. I then passed on the lady's love.

I know, some reading, will be sceptical, and maybe some will say is that all??!! But for me, it was proof that I am developing further on my path.

One of the class gave my cousin's a reading from a photograph of my Aunt who died this year. I only joined them half way through, but it was very acurate and gave my cousin's & me lots of upliftment. She captured my aunt 100% and I truly believe she was with us. She called me a poser for having the top down on my car

While at church I had an image of my fastening ribbons to a cross stitch circle, so tomorrow will be off to buy some, I do as I am told!!!!

6. What does your watch look like? Watches, watches, watches. I have loads! I wear my DKNY watch mainly, it was a gift from work on my 40th

7. What were you doing at midnight last night? Setting the alarm for 7am. Matthew had gone out with friends and wasn't back, I knew there was no way he would wake up for work on his own.....always the mother! Then snuggled up with hubby, his first night off so nice to have him there!

8. What did your last text message you received on your cell say? "we're in" sent by my niece in response to me texting to advise of date and location of a party we are having for my little brother's 40th and my dad's 80th birthday.

9. What's a word or phrase that you say a lot? "how rude!"

10. Last furry thing you touched? My dog, Milo

11. Favorite age you have been so far? 15 years old, I was a Mod and bought all my clothes from the jumble sale, often fighting with old ladies for two piece suits :))

12. Your worst enemy? Myself......at times

14. What was the last thing you said to someone? "what word or phrase do I say often?" to Lee

15. If you had to choose between a million bucks or to be able to fly what would it be? Erm.....the money....who wouldn't!

16. Are you in love with someone? Hell Yeah!

18. What time of day were you born? Dunno, I was number 6 of 7 kids, mum has forgotten.

19. What's your favorite food? Curry! Anything hot!

20. Where did you live in 1984? A village called Bramley, in a little council house alone with Ami.

21. Are you jealous of anyone? Yeah, people who have the time and money to not work and spend quality time with family and friends.

22. Is anyone jealous of you? I don't know.. are you?

23. Where were you when 9/11 happened? In bed with a kidney infection, my neighbour told me the news when I went out to feed the cat mid afternoon.

24. Do you consider yourself kind? I treat people as I would want to be treated, if they deserve it!

25. If you had to get a tattoo, where would it be? I'm scared of pain but would love a small angel on my right shoulder.

26. If you could be fluent in any other language, what would it be? Japanese, it's such a complex language and my niece Lucy speaks it so it would be handy

27. Would you move for the person you loved? Heaven & earth.

28. What's your life motto? Don't let the bastards get you down! I have learnt not to tollerate people who treat you with little respect. I have anyway so refuse to waste it on those who don't act accordingly

29. What's your favorite town/city? Plymouth - My brother was stationed there and as a child we spent our annual 2 weeks holidays there, I have some fantastic memories and plan to go back this year, taking mum & dad

30. When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper and mailed it? I hardly ever send letters, I use email. My writing is like a spider crawling across the page so if needing to use snail mail I usually type them.

31. Can you change the oil on a car? No, I have a husband......You don't have a dog and bark yourself!

32. Your first love: what is the last thing you heard about him/her? He knocked on my door one saturday afternoon, to pick up hid car that Lee had been valeting (Used to have a valeting business) You know one of those days when you have your shittiest clothes on and haven't brushed your hair yet. I was gutted!

33. Do you collect anything? Crystals and books.

34. The last time you dressed fancy, what did you wear and why did you dress fancy? Fancy - define fancy?

35. Have you been burned by love? Hell yes!
