Doctors, Decisions, Drenching & devils

The hospital visit went well. Dad's consultant is a likeable bloke who was genuine in his intent to cure dad.
The tumour is in the bottom half of dad's liver, the liver is devided into quadrants and dad's is partial quadrant 2, whole quadrant 3, partial quadrant 4. The danger of operating pre chemo is that the tumor is very close to the blood supply for the healthy part of of the liver and if damaged during the op would mean dad wouldn't survive. We discussed chemo and dad has said he will have it. Apparently the chemo doctor will "decide" if dad is fit enough. He is fitter than most people 20 years his junior so if she says no she better watch out! I left the appointment feeling positive and though I know we have a long rocky road am confident my dad, and his attitude will carry us all through!

Bloody hell, for the first time in months I had my daughter in bed with me because she was scared. The storms were horrendous and we have floodig all around us, thank god we live on a hill!!! The last time Abi was so scared was when she woke us at 4am to says she had "poltergist activity" in her room (was actually a breeze from her open window blowing the blind)

My lovely grandson has been replaced during the wee hours by a tantruming, squealing little devil. He has a look in his eye that tells me he is looking for trouble and we are battening down the hatches!!!

Hope you are all well :)
