We have, what Abi calls "Scotland rain" so named after we spent a week on the Western Highlands and it rained all week. We still had a good time, but Abi insists on calling any bad rainy days "Scotland Rain"
This morning Lee got in bed at 6.30am and I snuggled up to him, must have been comfy because I didn't wake up till 8.30am. I say wake up, I mean actually open my eyes. Due to my meds I don't wake up properly until I've been out of bed at least and hour. Anyhoo, I opened one eye, looked at the clock, heard the rain and stayed in bed. Thus keeping Abi off school
I called school and told a fib, and feel very guilty. I did make her do all her homework and some revision on Maths & science, so I don't feel "quite" as bad.
Lee had a course this afternoon, so Abi and I watched the second "bring it on" film. Anyone who hasn't seen the first one, it's about cheerleaders. The second one has "the twins" from Big Brothers "introduce yourself" song!
Dad hasn't heard a word from the hospital, 10 days tomorrow since they told him a chemo doctor would be in touch. While ever they dawdle the tumor is growing
If no letter or call is forthcoming tomorrow I'm going to call!
Today's tune is "only women bleed" Alice Cooper. I actually prefer the Baz Warne version but can't find it.
This song is dedicated to a friend, she knows who she is, and she knows why
