Dyeing to see you...........................

by Teri_R @ 04. Jun. 2007. - 22:55:33

.............
Lonemum's post on Tinks having a hair dyeing evening took me back to when Ami (actually AMY but we lost the Y and gained an I when she was a teen) :)) went through her "freak" phrase. I call it freak as that's what her and her friends were labelled at school. They had an individual style of dress, not quite goth, and I find it amusing to see kids dressed the same almost 10 years later.

Ami's hair went through a range of coulours, from red to balck, purple to blue. She would go to bed at 10pm with red hair, and get up for school the next day with vivid red hair. The only clue were the splashes on the bath and the drops on the towels 88|

My dad always said should Ami leave the house without seeing us in the morning and fail to return in the evening we would struggle to give a true description of her. "Erm, her hair could be blue, green, pink, purple or any of the above combined" :>>

I remember parents evening when she was in 5th year (year 11 in new money) and her drama teacher (who incidentally taught me) asked if we could "sort out" her hair. She felt the dark purple was not becomming of Ami's role of magistrate in her end of year play :))

Wonder if her two kids will be the same?

Well not really, but getting away with traffic offences

The figures from the North's police forces show of the 377 recorded incidents in 2006, only 36 resulted in the police officer getting a ticket.

This compares to 84 per cent of the general public prosecuted for speeding or jumping red lights.

The regional statistics do not reveal how many of the speeding cops were attending emergencies. However, nationally only one in four were.
