Monday weigh in!

by Teri_R @ 30. Oct. 2006. - 14:02:21

Went to Fat Class. Weight has stayed the same. I'm sure the drugs aren't helping as they have an adverse effect on the plumbing!

Lee is getting on with the kitchen and has just yelled "Do you think you could give me a hand in a bit?" which when translated means. Get off the PC and do something useful; Oh well, he's back at work Saturday so I will miss him then!

Abi went back to school this morning, got up no problem and was out of the door 15 minutes earlier than usual. She wanted to call for a boy up the street. She's desperately looking for someone to hang out with tomorrow evening for Halloween as her so called "best friend" has decided she is hanging out with some other girls and Abi isn't welcome. Why are girls so nasty? When we were younger it was the more the merrier and we regularly hung out with other groups.

I do worry about her, she isn't "cool", doesn't wear, or want to wear designer gear, and would prefer a game of footie rather than stand watching boys. I'm sure she'll find her own way, but it's so much harder than when we were kids!

oh well must go, hubby has just glared!!!!!

:)) Fat Class!!!

At least you didn't put any on.

My children have never been "cool" - they don't want designer clothes, trainers etc. But now they've become cool because they aren't. :)) Did that make sense??

I brought them up to be individuals - they've never wanted to be the same as everyone else - they love to be different :)

Everything will be ok with her :)

It's my daughter's name for it! I love it

My eldest was called "freak" all through the comp because she had a very individual style of dress. She was, what is now known as a Goth but before they existed. She was very strong tho, Abi is very fragile and struggles to make friends.

Oh the worry our children cause us !!! The next thing for me to worry about is when they start driving. I'm sure I'll never sleep!!

Wait till they get older, we'll get our own back :)

I take my dad's view. Live long enough to be a worry to your kids!

sympathies for worry over daughter...oh I hope she found somebody to hang out with for Hallowe'en....I remember being without any body to do stuff like that with....(but I was a nerd....)....If its any consolation my daughter...who is exactly the opposite....went out with mates who got egged, threatened and generally didnt have a great time.....they are all a worry in their different ways....I sometimes think I'd rather my daughter was uncool and would stay at home and be creative... no chance... ITS CRAP BEING A PARENT SOMETIMES!xx

She went with my sister in law and her cousin who is 6. I think she enjoyed it, and it will probably be her last as she will be 12 1/2 next year!
My son works in the local shop and kids were trying to buy eggs all night. The manager banned all under 18's from buying them which pissed them off!

Yeah, being a parent is by far the hardest proffesion!!

I know....it shouldnt be allowed!! :)) :))
Glad your daughter got to go out bless her...
what a shocking waste of eggs... those poor hens straining away laying eggs and all that effort just to have them thrown about, not even eaten...:( if I were a hen I'd be pretty pissed off....you see its hard even for chicken parents....:(...
