Hi

by Teri_R @ 21. Sep. 2006. - 21:46:52

Hi All,

Just to say, what with this crap Windows vista(see mondays blog) and feeling crap I haven't been around much.

I made the mistake of saying I was going to return to work, sick of

1. No money
2. Waiting for appointments!

Woke up, or rather was woken up at 7am in horrendous pain, so bd have been on tamadol all day and spent the afternoon watching Most haunted laid on the setee with the dog and spiders (well I old see them)

If I'm not around over the weekend, I promise to catch up. CT scan at 8am so off to bed before the drugs wear off

Teri
xx

Poor you, it's horrible when you're in constant pain.

A diagnosis wouldn't go a miss.

Over 6 months is a long time to have my life on hold with no clue as to the cause.

Thanks x

6 months ? Is that waiting to see a consultant, surely not for the CT result. Hope the pain is a bit better now.

Urologist expected me to wait from June to September for last results. Lucky for me I have a pushy GP who got the results himself.
I was taken ill on the 4th March, I have spent 6 months being investigated for kidney desease/stones or cancer. They have decided I do have some desease but that is not where my pain is coming from so I am now under a general surgeon who is investigating further.

I shouldn't be surprised but I am sad that it leaves you in so much pain, and of course worry. I know from my Louise's experience how difficult it can be to get a diagnosis for a pain like that. I just had to keep taking her to the doctors till I found someone who recognised it.
